Book Reading and Signing with Authors Marina DelVecchio and Carla Sameth. Carla Sameth will be reading from her memoir, One Day on the Gold Line (Black Rose Writing, 2019), which tells the story of a lesbian Jewish single mother raising a black son in Los Angeles. 

Based on her adoption and teen years, Marina DelVecchio’s Dear Jane (Black Rose Writing 2019) tells the story of a suicidal teen whose letters to Charlotte Bronte’s Jane Eyre give her the courage she needs to overcome the abuses of her childhood and the silences of her new life as a Greek-American adoptee.
